Sue says: “The healthcare system in the United States is in a state of flux. Patients are tired of being looked at solely as a series of diagnoses or conditions that need treatment. What needs to be “treated” is the individual. There is certainly a time and a place for allopathic medicine in the treatment of serious illness or injury. However, more healthcare professionals are waking up to the fact that patients benefit from being addressed as a whole person, considering diet, fitness and stress levels in forming a care plan. Aromatherapy is a great adjunct in promoting mental and physical health.”
